I ride a Hardtail eBike Twinner E1 from Thömus (Switzerland). It has a light carbon frame, an electronic 11-speed Shimano XT DI2 drive strain and a Shimano Steps E8000 drive system. Weighing in at just 18 kg, it’s good to travel by train before, after or in between tours. After 2 years the bike has about 6’000 km on the meter.
This comfort frame allows a very practical entry.
I was able to receive the eBike in summer 2018 from the former professional cyclist Marcel Wyss.
Navigation takes place on an iPhone 8 with Komoot.
The switchgear is operated electronically.
The bike has front and rear Shimano Saint brakes.
Before, I drove a Hardtail eBike Cube Elite Hybrid with a light carbon frame, 29-inch wheels, and a Bosch NYON bike computer for motor control, navigation and fitness displays. After 2 years the bike had about 16’000 km on the meter.
This was my conventional bike, a socalled bio-bike.
It’s a Specialized Sirrus Expert X1 Carbon Disc.
